What is a Cannabinoid?
Cannabinoids are the naturally occurring chemical compounds found in hemp that work in tandem to produce varying psychoactive and nonpsychoactive effects. Together, they are known to act synergistically to form an “entourage effect,” meaning that they collaboratively provide additional benefits beyond what each individual cannabinoid would provide by itself.

Potency testing measures the medicinal strength or efficacy of cannabinoids in  hemp. You will need to understand a plant or product’s potency to confirm that the desired effect or intensity will be reached. Our potency tests measure the presence and quantity of 11 different cannabinoids in a sample of flower or stems, as well as any R&D stage hemp product. We can also confirm potency of those products ready to go to market.

OUR TESTING METHOD!
After a complex homogenization and lengthy sample preparation process, we use HPLC-DAD (high performance chromatography with diode array detection) to run the cannabinoid analysis.
